Brief: Our client approached 7PR asking if a short campaign could be run to increase bookings for classes at her yoga studio. She was also looking to have the profile of some of her other business ventures raised.
Method: The 7PR team attended some of the classes at the yoga studio in order to get a feel for the space, the culture, the teaching. A strategy was then developed to promote different angles that would attract further yoga practitioners to the studio, both novices and yogis. 7PR suggested various angles including staging the ‘West Midland’s first ever yoga Mannequin Challenge’. We also publicised events that we knew could be made visually eye catching for the media, such as a neon, glow yoga session that was to form part of Christmas celebrations at the studio. Each business venture was then promoted as a separate entity to different target media audiences.
Result: Widespread local coverage including lengthy radio interviews and coverage in relevant national yoga titles.
