Brief: To promote a series of films transforming classics into accessible films for children. To drive sales.

Method: We looked carefully at how to promote Heidi, Canterbury Tales, & Shakespeare Animated Tales to the target trade & consumer market. DVDs were sent to relevant media for review, and interviews were offered up. We collated case studies on how the films were made and sent strong clips and also stand alone images. One to one follow up discussions with trade and consumer media. For Shakespeare we concentrated on how renowned author and Shakespeare scholar Leon Garfield had adapted the 12 plays, but kept the films faithful to the narrative and language of the Bard. We discussed how the adaptations used a variety of animation techniques and featured the vocal talents of well known figures including Felicity Kendal, Alun Armstrong, Joss Ackland and Zoe Wanamaker.

Results: Significant media coverage in trade, national and London press.
